Public transportation in Torino is provided by GTT  (the Web site contains a  journey planner  that helps you finding the transport between two points in the city.) Travelers must buy tickets in advance at GTT booths at the railway stations, at the several newspaper shops ("Edicola") all around the city, or at the automatic machines in the metro stations. Tickets must be validated once on the bus/tram or before entering the metro station. To get to the conference from Porta Nuova railway-station, get on bus 68 direction " CASALE CAP." just in front of the station (no need to cross the street) and get down at the fourth stop (stop number 773 - Giolitti).
